User registration

For some reason, guests HAVE to be able to post to my board. If I disable them, then new members will not be able to post - also, when most people register, even after they post, they keep the guest status instead of upgrading to junior member.

hmm... I've become the notorious board expert almost overnight What's the problem exactly, can you elaborate a little more ???
