Sharing my experience of downloading and converting Youtube videos

Have you ever encounted the problem about downloading and converting Youtube videos? Well, when I was an internet beginner, I really didn’t know how to download Youtube video and thought it couldn’t be downloaded. However, after finding so many wonderful and memorable videos on Youtube, I really would like to share them with my friends and family. Moreover, when I am on traveling or far away home, I want to enjoy my favorite videos from Youtube with my iPod such as Forrest Gump》,《The pursuit of Happiness》, which could make me stronger and braver.

Then I searched the solution about how to download and convert Youtube video on Google, Yahoo answer, and even forums, but failed. As the ways they provided are not effective and ideal. As you know, I really don’t like installing any unnecessary softwares on my computer. So I hate to download Free Youtube Downloaders or any plug-in they recommend. Moreover, I don’t want to spend much time on converting a Youtube video via some online download Youtube website such as http://www.youconvertit.com/convertfiles.aspx which requires you to provide an email to get the converted video, needing much time.
Well, after trying so many unpleasant ways, I finally find a nice website to download videos. Next I am going to demonstrate the detailed steps about downloading and converting Youtube videos.
Part 1: Download Youtube video.
Go to this website: http://www.downflv.com/index.php → paste the url of the Youtube video into the first field→click "Fetch It" → click the link of the result after the result appearing.
Then it will download the video with your browser Mozilla Firefox or the download software on your PC.
After downloading, the name of the video is "get_video", and it will be placed on your desktop. You can rename it and add its extension as "flv".

Part 2: Convert the downloaded Youtube video.

there's actually a mozilla firefox plug-in that allows me to do both download and conversion at the same time.
