Viatalk raises international rates 5400% !!!

When I signed up for Viatalk last year my wife was able to call Russia $0.045 min which was good even though the connectivity / quality was terrible.

Now I noticed it costs $0.2460 / minute to call Russia and my email to customer service confirmed this. That's an outrageous increase of .... 5466% !!!

How can a consumer let alone a business survive with that kind of an increase? You'd think that Viatalk would email their customer base with such a change in service instead of leaving their customers in the dark.

Does anyone have a line on a "dial around" carrier so we can call on our cell phone internationally or another VOIP provider more customer friendly?

Thx
Mike

I know.. I've been with them for two years now and they said when I signed up that they would be reducing their long distance rates. They haven't but there are other VoIP providers that have better rates.
