Mailing List for HR

HostRocket needs to make a Newsletter that goes out to all the people who are current members to keep them update on whats going on, What wrong with the servers, and how long its going to take to fix these problems. You guys have that Newletter on the Forums but Not everyone reads that they need to send out the e-mails to everyone. That would make more people happy because they would know what was going on.

It is, but i dont know if they will take the idea into plan they should though.

They'd have to automatically add new users to the mailing list (and remove cancelled accounts) otherwise someone might get missed. It would also make sense to have this list on a separate environment unaffected by any emergency server issues that might come up. If they can resolve the issue of keeping an up to date list, I think it's a great idea!

Other Companies do it all the time and they have no problem ive seen smaller companies do it.

I think it's a very good idea to receive updates from HR via email.
Going to the knowledgebase newsletters every day is quite boring... :-)

WebAxxs/OLM made an eGroups mailing list where anybody could post, and they could let their customers know when things were down. I was subscribed for awhile while I was host shopping.

Great idea! I think a newsletter mailing list would be very helpful.
