View Full Version : New e-mail system - problems (7/9/02) ?

Just wondering anyone has been experiencing problems sending mail out through the new 'mailbox.domainname.com' configuration for e-mail ?

I've recently taken out a second account with HR on behalf of a company I do work for and have been placed onto the new e-mail configuration. Mail seems to be coming in ok but the company is reporting a "domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)" type error. If it was an obscure domain I could maybe understand it but they are getting it with a few domains including an address at Hotmail.

Just thought I would check in here before submitting a TT.

Yes, but not the same problem!

I have the same problems with the new mail system as the old one!
Emails getting lost or have a 3-4 hour delay. Sometimes, and just sometimes, it works.

How many support tickets do I have to send before they do anything about it?? :(
I wonder if I should cancel my account and get the rest of my money back.

That ain't gonna happen unless you've had your account for 14 days or less. Otherwise you're only entitled to 50% of the pro-rated amount.

Must admit this is the first 'serious' problem I've had with HR. I've had my personal site with them for over a year now and whilst theres been the occassional glitch everything else was been fine.

Anyways, I'll be sending off a TT tonight to see if HR have any ideas about it.
