Hello, does anyone know where I can get a compay or software that will accept credit cards and charge them monthly for my webhost company.

Try your bank. Once you start using them, everyone will be knocking at your door saying they have the lowest merchant fees. They are all full of it in my opinion, professional scam artists.

Most Banks only offer Merchant Accounts which means they will accept credit cards into the account from some who porcesses it. So Im looking for someone to process the credit card and put it into my bank account. But I think I may have found one at http://www.Ibill.com
Thanks

My business uses all kinds of credit card processors. As far as I know, all banks worth their salt will process credit cards for their business clients, and make available the funds within a 24 hour period. I also own an ATM which uses a private processor, likewise a 24 hour deposit period (with a different fee scale). And I use Heartland, out of Oregon, for day to day sales; once again, 24 hrs, different fee structure. But for 6 years of operation I used B of A, who processed, by their ownselves, a load of credit card transactions without a hitch (save the astronomical fees the poor merchant gets charged). :) At any rate good luck with whomever you choose.

Who do you use on the web?

What I do on the web is to have the secure order PGP encrypted and mailed to my order mail address, decrypted, enter the card into the processing equipment (currently the actual processor is Heartland Payment Systems, could be our bank if we chose to do that), or call them for voice approval, then mail the product with the receipt. I hope that helps. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that you could set up a business account at your bank, if you have not already done that, and go through them to process transactions. It sounds like your wanting it all to be automatic. I don't do that because we get like three people buying off our website every decade (:)) and it makes sense for me to have the cards either voice approved or run through our equipment here at work. I just shot over to our bank (B of A) website and they say that they will accept online payments of credit/debit cards. But like I said I do it the other way. So many choices.

I would stay away from iBill. While they seem to provide an okay service, they change way overboard.

I am looking for a service to provide my small business the ability to accept credit cards. From our login page if they do not have a credit card on file they will enter the information, then the credit card will need to be authorized and entered into our database. Once that is done and they are done with our service the cards will need to be charged and the money deposited into our account. Can anyone help me out here?

I have not used ProPay (http://www.propay.com), but have read elsewhere that ProPay is reputable.

Does anyone have experience with ProPay?

Also, on other threads, others have mentioned osCommerce (http://www.oscommerce.org) as a shopping application.
