Hi,

If anyone feels like defending us, some guy decided to try and rip us to shreds saying we are cheating our customers etc, and hes never been a customer. We'd appreciate any support anyone feels like giving us.

By the time I got there the thread was already closed :-(

Anyway, that guy was out of line. It was childish and not informative
- just mean spirited. People like that are best ignored (although it's
very had to contain oneself at times). That's my $.02 worth.

Anybody who follows those discussions should be smart enough to ignore his
post. When I come across one of those I know it's somebody with a bone to
pick. Just noise in my opinion.

Yes, I agree, one must be able to make wise judgement about who they listen to. People who slam a company should not be listened to, only those that provide constructive criticism or positive points. But it's always fun to reply. :)

The irony in all of it was that (in my opinion) he just picked on HR
because it was one of the 2 hosts the thread started wanted info about.
He felt like pi**ing somebody off and it was a 50-50 chance on whether it
would be HR or the other host (whose name escapes me right now).

the guys lost the plot and went off half cocked..
1.no telnet access hell i would love to see him debug a cgi script without telnet access the little info ya get from one can only be gotten through telnet.

2.All his rants can be put down to over use of server resources hell basically fer his $9 a month this guy wants his own isp my verdict hes a dick

3. the service here is great..i challenge people to prove me wrong on this.

if you mean the ranting looney then no he gave no explanation but if you are refering to the webnetics link yes i do they were my former host and basically it was as i said they wanted to give customers everything they asked for and the price for a uk host was the lowest around compared to the us line rental prices here are exuberant ie: a 2mb leased line from bt will cost 38,000 ukp a year
from globix revitup its 960 a month these prices are accurate since me and 3 friends were gonna open a net cafe last year but the cost was to prohibative
webnetics were doing
250 meg
3 gig tx allowance
unlimted pop3s
unlimited mysql dbs
php
asp
and all the usual stuff for 5 ukp a month way to low here to offer that and make a profit.
