I transferred my domain to hostrocket a while ago now and I have to say that so far I absolutely love their service with the minor exception of webmail.
This wasn't a problem previously because I was using my own computer and could just use outlook express to continue accessing the email address that I have been using for the last some-odd years. Now however I am on an extended hiatus abroad and have been forced to use the webmail client. Even though it works well enough most of the time, when it doesn't work I usually manage to permanently lose a significant number of emails.
Here are my questions:
1. Does anyone know if hostrocket has any plans to upgrade the webmail client they provide at some point in the near future? Perhaps to one that won't be as buggy?
2. Does anyone know of a 3rd party hosted webmail solution that will allow me to continue using my own address. I have NO interest in signing up with a hotmail-esque service so that I can have my user name on their domain. I want to continue using my existing email address.
3. I am not adverse to installing a 3rd party webmail client that provides me with reliable service in exchange for space in my hostrocket allotment... but I have no interest in paying the corporate level fees that I have found so far. After all I only need this service for myself.
Thanks,
Ted
