User registration

For some reason, guests HAVE to be able to post to my board. If I disable them, then new members will not be able to post - also, when most people register, even after they post, they keep the guest status instead of upgrading to junior member.

hmm... I've become the notorious board expert almost overnight :) What's the problem exactly, can you elaborate a little more ???
