Greetings,

I have been researching and developing a *new* - *exciting* and *disruptive* biz plan for nearly two years and am now looking for "the right designer/developer" to build and launch my e-commerce/membership based web services.

The reason I mentioned that my biz is exciting and disruptive is because it is intended to take on some so-called *mighty giants* by providing professional services that encompass the promotion of integrity and social responsibility within a marketplace that severely lacks both.

As much as I know what my biz is all about, and as much as I understand what features I'll need to conduct business on the net, I'll admit straight from the get-go -- I am a complete novice where technology meets my fulfillment needs.

I began this post with the subject line, "$800.00 to begin" as I am looking for one or more highly skilled, confident, passionate, courageous, and creative individuals to take on my project with the knowledge that although the initial payment for services rendered, ($800.00) may be short of typical expectations, there is overwhelming evidence that I will be able to generously compensate you further for your time and effort once the site has been launched. The details can be worked out for mutual consideration.

The basic membership subscriptions will serve as the catalyst for acquiring back-end revenues via numerous other "needed services", provided at a discount for active members or at regular rates for non-members.

Some of the applications needed for these services will include:

~ Member application form - member fills out a form, form is forwarded to business e-mail account, member pays a subscription fee, and upon confirmation, is added automatically to the member directory. All pre-selected info from the application form should be included with the member identity.

~ Merchant services integrated with all forms

~ Member Directory/Data Base -- Capable of being queried by end user for search as well as for active membership verification.

~ Automated Classified ad directory (members only service -- members will pay a small one time fee to upload their ads and buyers will be able to purchase the "one of a kind item" right then and there -- the purchased item must be automatically removed from the classified ads to prevent anyone else from purchasing the item.

~ Request Service Form -- (Another back-end service). This form will function much like the application form without need to upload any information to the web site data base.

Will also need:

~ Tell a friend form

~ Contact form

~ Feedback form

~ Survey Form

~ Autoresponce set up

~ Article submission and archive data base.

~ vbulletin integration and design to compliment site design.

~ Site designer should also be comfortable with and have indepth knowledge of search engine submission - optimization.

~ Graphic design, 2 membership seals.

More info will be provided regarding the specifics once a non-disclosure and service/compensation agreement has been signed.

Are you thinking outside the box?

Tanea

P.S. Anyone who participates in this project will recieve a minimum of 1 full year advertising on the site - and remember, with a membership base that displays a professional seal and a link back to the site, the traffic created will surely provide you with some additional revenue generating contracts with others in need of your services. (Of which there may be many due to the whole concept behind my business strategy)!

If this is a big project you'll need more than one developer on the case!

I can code reasonably in PHP, and obviously SQL for databases. I currently use Ultradev for both PHP and ASP development. However my ASP skills are not developed yet, as I am only just getting into it.

I am very experienced with HTML and use Dreamweaver 4 to aid in both design and code modification.

I am an A* student at English and would be very happy to spell/grammar check your site content. A high profile site will need to be grammatically correct as well as having correct spellings.

I am an experienced user of Fireworks, thus enabling me to create high quality PNG and GIF files.

Side note -- UltraDev does PHP?

UltraDev supports everything if you have the extensions installed.

Here is the first line of the forum rules:
This forum is intended to offer a place for HostRocket customers to get together and help each other out with their websites.

Tbj, are you a moderator of these forums? Didnt think so. If a moderator decides that Daver shouldnt post here, then they will take care of it. It is not your duty to go about stopping every post even if by non-customers. Try not being so cofrontation in the forums, if ya have nothing useful to add to the topic, then don't post anything.

I have extensive php mysql experience enabling both end users and non-technical site administrators to use and build interactive web sites.

www.wisconsinhomes.com
www.schoeppmotors.com
cridata.crinet.com/beef/
cridata.crinet.com/dairy/

All of these sites allow non-technical personnel to fully update the site through automoted back-ends and html forms.

I can provide you with professional references.

My own sites are not yet complete (no one's paying me to build my own stuff), but will also use many of the widgets you have mentioned.

I have 3 levels of Memberships, Chatroom, Affiliate pages, photos, etc. They do sometimes take there time, so if this needs to be done yesterday read no further! But I would consider them also, Especially to do your site in Flash! that is there greatest strength:
http://www.futurevision.com.ua I found them through Elance.com
there bid for my entire site redesign with total backend programming was around 2,000.00 . They have taken even longer than planned and are not charging for their extra time to do the job right. There care about there reputation vs. output and profits! What impressed me was they did work for highlevel officials and software sales companies in the US also chose them! The area of concern is shipping is a tricky thing for any development team unless that is their specialty, that is what is holding my site from it's earlier completion, I think. But they otherwise try really hard to please you.
And put the extra time and effort and thought to do the right thing!
If my site was ready I would show it to you, but not quite yet!
but my own Under Construction pages are at http://baby-coop.com hosted here at HR.
