backup mail (inbox.db files)

Does anyone know how to view inbox.db files? I downloaded a backup from yesterday, and extracted the file, but can't figure out how to open it.

I'm assuming it needs to be brought into a mail client, but outlook express uses *.dbx, so I'm stumped.

Anyone have any ideas? thanks!

Well, I've never seen the inbox.db file... mine are all just named "inbox" however, it's just a text file so you can view it in any text editor. As for Outlook, I'm pretty certain it can not import the message...

Aah! Ok... I found the INBOX.db file you are referring to... it's from Neomail! :)

So... that means that it's a binary file and so I know even less about how to deal with it... sorry :(
