hi, i am new at this and i cant seem to work out how to use my mail thing, i set up everything in outlook express, smtp and pop3 servers as mail.mydomain.com (mail.labacaneria.com) but when i open this account it says: "The host 'mail.labacaneria.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail.labacaneria.com', Server: 'mail.labacaneria.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D"
i then changed the servers to host25.hrwebservices.net and i could send mail but couldnt receive.
Please, can any1 help me with this?

your outgoing setup is:

smtp server: yourdomain.com (note there is no mail.)
username youremailname@yourdomain.com (yes the whole thing)

incoming setup is the same

hello, i just typed that and it worked when i send mail, but again, i couldnt receive any, maybe its due to the delay or something, anyhow, ill wait until tomorrow and see if the mail arrives, if it doesnt ill post another message here.

There is one trick here...

If you're checking mail for the user name of your account (the name you use to log into the control panel with) then you just use the user name to log in and don't need the "@domain.com" part.

The mailbox@domain.com login is only for additional email boxes.
