View Full Version : DNS weirdness

My domain is in the process of switching over to HR's DNS servers, which is great. It's funny because at home glen.nu resolves to HR, and at work it still resolves to the old address. It started about 12 hours ago, so I'm figuring it'll have itself figured out by tomorrow morning...

My question though is this: when I checked the DNS using "Network Tools" in my control panel, I got this:

glen.nu has address 216.74.100.235
glen.nu mail is handled (pri=0) by glen.nu

Zone Info:

glen.nu name server ns.hrwebservices.net
glen.nu name server ns2.hrwebservices.net
glen.nu has address 216.74.100.235
*.glen.nu has address 209.223.182.5
localhost.glen.nu has address 127.0.0.1

The part that is most interesting to me is that everything points properly, except *.glen.nu which still points to the old host. Is this something I should worry about? I advised my old provider that I was moving, is this something they need to fix? I wish I understood DNS just a little but more than I do...
