In the FAQ, it says that you can use SMTP to send mail from mail.yourserver.com as long as you've checked you email with POP within a certain time period (can't remember what that was).

It's not working for me. I'm trying to set up Outlook Express to use my server, but it can't find it.

I'm using the same server name, so I'm thinking it's a port problem? I don't know.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

-Tim

Hmm... seems to work now, nevermind!

This has never worked for me. I understand the purpose behind checking mail before sending, but it never works for me (with either Juno or MSN). I always have to find an address that doesn't mind spam and send thru them.

Pain in the butt!

if you're using Outlook or Outlook Express, just make sure that its setup to SEND/RECEIVE on startup, that way the pop3 server gets a hit, letting you send email
