Please, someone help me with my website graphics.. I need a new logo really, well, tell me what you think please. I really don't have any money, but I can offer you credit on my website if someone will help me out. I either need to find a very good program that will allow me to easily make a logo (I have logo creator) or someone to actually make one.

I mainly use Photoshop 6.0 for my graphics, but I'm sure if I was any good, I could use that program a lot better and actually make decent graphics.. Someone please help..

-Chris

ps. If the site is down, please please try again later, for some reason server 22 has been giving me problems for days now and I get complaints from people saying it's down way too much. Let's hope support will fix this very soon.. Should I record the time the site is down and deduct it? Damn, almost did it again, I always forget to type the url..... Thanks

Hi.
Not sure exactly what is is you're trying to do. I use Photoshop for almpost all my work. Try checking out David Beidney's book "Photoshop Channel Chops". He's a former ILM artist- I took a class by him at Seybold Publishing Conference a couple of years ago, and the guy's a genius. You can learn more about him and what he does at http://www.photoshopcentral.com. If you want to send me an email, I'll see what I can do to help you out.

With each version of photoshop, there's usually a book published called Classroom in a Book for Ver. XX It's pretty detailed and easy to understand. Getting used to the layers feature in PS is where you can blend several images to appear as one also.

Other graphics programs include Web Razor Pro from Ulead and FontFX

There's also a free online site for building 3D text at

Hope this helps

I've found that Paint Shop Pro, when used in companion with Photoshop, can make some really good images.
