The following is me selling myself. :)
I'm fluent in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I also have minor skils in PHP - I can make polls, guestbooks, user-logins, etc, but no database skills. I'm also interested in doing online tech support, if anyone is interested in hiring me. :) I WILL WORK FOR VERY LOW WAGE.
My e-mail is shawn@olptech.com - feel free to ask any questions you may have.

A little tip for when you're 'selling yourself', never say what skills you 'don't' have. Keep it positive.

Um, ok.
I'm fluent in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I also have minor skils in PHP - I can make polls, guestbooks, user-logins, etc, but for stuff that I can't do, I want you to waste your time contacting me so I can tell you then. I'm also interested in doing online tech support, if anyone is interested in hiring me. I WILL WORK FOR VERY LOW WAGE.

I was only offering my advice, there's no need to be rude. If you thought about it for a minute you might see what I'm getting at, but if you're going to throw friendly tips back in people's faces, you'll get nowhere.
I would have explained the benefits of a positive approach to marketing your skills, but since you don't seem to appreciate other people's advice, since you probably think you're right on everything, I'm not going to bother.

Adam, I do appreciate your input and actually agree, but not in this case... think about it.
I'd rather not waste the time of someone looking to hire (especially if they have a deadline for the project). It's just much easier to announce that I can't do databases, the object that 96% of people who need PHP programmers are looking for.
Notice I didn't put other things I couldn't do -- just databases.
S'all good, man. :D
