.jpg problems

Hi all...I reported that i was having .jpg probs a couple of days ago...well the problem isnt HR...so I guess its me. For some reason...when I try to read .jpg's from my file manager...they look like this....

.gifs come out fine. I checked with a buddy of mine and he says he can see them fine....so it must be me...he even upoaded to the HR server and he was able to see them. I just saw the same stuff as above. Is it browser settings??...any suggestions

Make sure you upload all images in "BINARY MODE" on your FTP client.

When you view the file are you going into your contorl panel and clicking the file then show file contents or do you type the jpg's url into your browser? When I try to view a jpg through my control panel I get the same thing you did but if you type the url into your browser you should be able to see the jpg.
