New servers

Hi folks,
Has anyone, who switched to the new servers, noticed any performance increase or significant advantages? I am running large UBB board and would like all the performance I can get.

If you like to be able to do about absolutely nothing then it is good...basically it is just to test the waters and make sure your host can support it. It has been stripped of about every feature.

vBulletin is DEFINATLY worth the money. Plus the new version theyre working on will have a LOT of great features like private messaging and buddy list, polls, and others too.

I have used ikonboard. I liked it, but the server I was using was sooo sloooow. I bet it would scream here. I might try that out for now. Dont know. We will have to see. Anyone else use ikonboard here?

I've used iconboard before on a site built for a friend. The install couldn't be easier, and it is fairly customizable. Great board for the money (free). It does run a little slow, havent tried it here, yet. Once network solutions pulls thier head out and switches nameservers for me we'll see.

The coming new version of UltraBoard will be better than vBulletin ..
