Hi all.
Just have 2 questions:
a) my CP account stats says I have 0 email accounts created. However, I have created 2. does anyone know if this is just a problem with the CP reporting?
b) on one of the email accs. I created, sending mail works fine, but whenever I try to retrieve mail I keep getting a:
** Pop server error “-ERR Username/Password Mismatch”; however, I have no trouble retrieving email from one of my other accounts i created, as well as retrieving the email through the web-interface. Anyone have any ideas? i triple checked the info on the account that's not working, and I seem to have entered everything correct.
thanks in advance.

Hi,
The 0 Account thing is a cosmetic error only.
When using the mail, make sure you are logging in with "account@domain.com" for the login name, and make sure you are not using the default account that was already there when you got into the mail manager.

Just to clarify b/c Brendan's post confused me a bit... the system sets up a default box for you based on your username I assume. This is not an email address. If your username is jordan, and you want the email jordan@yourdomain.com, you will go to your mail settings to add it and see jordan already there, but you need to still add it as an account. You will notice that compared to the other accounts, the system setup account will read simply username whereas the others will read username@domain.tld. I assume the reasoning for this is because on each server there can only be one username jordan. Because these are virtual hosting accounts, many sites are stored on one server. Thus when I sign up, there may already be another jordan and they might have a domain jordan@theirdomain.com. Now if the usernames were simply 'username' for email, then there could only be one of each for the prefix before @domain.com, by making the username include the domain, it allows there to be one of each username for each domain, so that way everyone can have the email addresses they want for their site!

Hmm. well, I'm still having a problem with alternate email accounts. i've set up my 'default' account of plebian@digiplebes.com, and that works fine. i can send and receive mail from it, no problem. but I've set up two other accounts, and configured them exactly the same (with the proper unames though). For some reason I am unable to access the new mailboxes. I always get a uname/pw mismatch. However, one of the alt accounts i set up worked fine last night, and is broken this morning. does/has anyone else had similar problems?
