uptime stats. Things are slow. Can't connect to mySQL

Getting the following stats:

1:53pm up 7:42, 8 users, load average: 6.70, 5.57, 5.14

Also can't connect to mySQL. Too many connections.

What's up?

Same here and been happening alot lately. Me thinks the MySQL "Max Connections" needs to be set higher now that they raised the dbs from 3 to 10.

So how do you read this uptime thing?

Please check out my post in the newsletter announcement part of the board. This problem is going to be completly fixed perm. tonight, and we have learned a lesson from this server.

So it's an overall server problem, not directly linked to mySQL?


Brendan, now that you're here, maybe you can answer my question about my email reading 'on behalf of' that I asked over in the Email forum.
