Dreamweaver question

Hmmm, can't seem to connect via the ftp function in Dreamweaver, either version 3 or 4 on both Mac and Win platforms.

After searching this forum, I've narrowed it down to issues on Host4 as my other site on Host3 connects just fine.

Any ideas out there? Other than to use another ftp program.

If you feel or know it is a host4 problem, but it works on host3, I would say use WSFTP (but you said you dont want that). The only other thing I can say is to transfer servers.

Try doing a search here on the forum for that topic. There are several threads discussing it already.

Yeah, already did a search and they have redid the FTP header.

Works for a bit then quits

Oh well, it was a thought. I use DW daily, and just upload with WSFTP. I finally gave up worrying about it. I like WSFTP a little better anyway, since I have multiple accounts and like to update different ones at the same time.
