Myphpnuke user....I need your help badly..

I have the new version of MPN....I'm asked the question on the mpn site...but i want your comment too, because we are on the same host..

My problem is:

When a user signs up, they don';t get their confirmation email. And the one of the makers of mpn said to check if my mailserver was configured properly. I have configured MPN right..and everythging is running smoothly..except that none of the users are getting the confirmation email after theys signed up with the password. I even tried using the "contact us" link to see if user can contact me using that...and still no luck. I configured the email that is sent to..and everything.

Can anyone please help, and give me some advise plllllleeeeease?? Thank you.

While i'm asking this....

What code am i suppose to put for the timezone....on the Myphpnuke configuration..

and what does it mean to "Set the Server Timzone via putenv: " should i choose yes, or no??

I live in florida. I went to the page.. but i didn't know wether to put the number of the timezone they provided,, or the name..

This what putenv is:

Put in the number, not the name.

so just copy and paste the number??? and should i have MPN use also use that putenv feature??

What preferences did other MPN users make?? I'm having to many problems...and not everything is working.
