Hi!

Are there any plans on incorporating PGP on your systems? Would be nice to be able to send PGP encrypted mail, or store encrypted data in a database.

Thanks.

Wow, so I'm not alone :) I've been hinting towards this since before I switched to the new servers. It's free, so cost isn't an issue.

It was offered in the old control panel and therefore I haven't upgraded one of my accounts. If you are concerned about security for your site for something like credit card acceptance than SSL (customer to server) and PGP (server to you: transmittal and storage) are mandatory. This was actually the reason I came to Hostrocket and I hope they put it in the new control panel so I can upgrade. :D

I have found an alternative. I had GnuPG installed on my server. I am still working with it to learn how to completely utilize it, but it is a GNU version of PGP. You can find out more about it at http://www.gnupg.org/. I also have the names of some PHP scripts that work with it. I can send the URLs to you if you want. Email me at sheddr@sheddtech.com.
