View Full Version : incorrect voicemail envelope

The problem I am going to describe has not been resolved for almost 2 years. :mad: When someone leaves a voicemail and I press 3 to hear the message envelope, it usually says it was received from "extension 9" or some other number. If I press 3 again, it will say some other number (like 935) (again, not the correct number). If I listen to the message envelope enough times, it sometimes actually says the correct number. I know the number is recorded correctly because it is correct on the call log and in the Voicemail menu of the Control Panel. BTW, Caller ID works find. I shouldn't have to go through these steps to find out what number left a voicemail. I opened up a ticket about this and when nothing was done about it for about 6 months, I called and was told it's on hold because the engineers are working on it. I asked if the ticket can be escalated to a manager and was told to reply to the ticket. So I did about a week ago and (surprise!) I haven't heard anything. What's going on?

Look at the number of views and look at the number of replies. And after almost 6 months this is still a problem. Thanks for nothing ViaTalk! Are you that inferior that you cannot fix a problem that has been around for two years? Why can no one fix this?!
