We are continuing to work on stabalizing host12.hrwebservices.net now. So far we have:
restored the user files on a backup machine that was in place already, and gotten things back up on that - basically the accounts have all been moved to a new server, which is now called host12 in place of the old one. this server was having problems with its scsi controller when we first moved into it which caused some delay in the move. Basically its the same user accounts on completly different hardware and system files.
suspicious accounts have all been disabled, and all other accounts are being looked at one at a time by hand for possible problem spots.
the server has been checked out and verified by a security expert for any possible security holes.
shell acccess has temp. been disabled for all accounts on this server. if you desperatly need it, send in a ticket or message 'rocketsupport' on aim and we'll work something out for you.
SMTP is down currently on host12, this is the first thing we will be working on once its completly secure.
we are going to after seeing all of this have rock solid servers security-wise, as we are learning alot of ways to tighten things up by talking to guys who specilize in server security etc, along with a few other things we are doing which ill get into at a later date...
