Im on host.hrwebservices.net, its 3:11 PM PST, and my site and email are down. Anybody else down on this server?

Its back up now. Anyone else on this server experiencing downtime scattered?

I take that back, my email isnt working. In a couple of min. it will. WHats goin' on?

I think u might be having a connection problem somewhere along the way, the monitors check the servers every 30 seconds and the server youre on wasnt down at all.

The server responded with an error. Account: 'mail.kylecool.com', Server: 'mail.kylecool.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: 'connect: Connection refused (SOCK_DGRAM after trying SOCK_STREAM) at bin/cppop.pl line 87', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

site up now, but mail isnt. the error above is what i get. My connection is fien...

I had exactly the same error. I put in a support ticket and the reponse was that they knew about it already.

Anyway it seems to be fixed now.

How about an explanation of what went wrong, and why the monitors didn't pick it up.

Yeah, I agree with you, its up now, but what caused this, and is this a recurring error or forewarning of something awful to come? LOL, my dramatic side. Anyways, please tell us why the new monitoring thing didn't work!

i had similiar problems...my site is down..
i dont know what my server is..how do i find that out??..can you help??

my site is www.edenscrushlive.com
it came back like 3days ago becuase the month of may we used all our bandwith for the month so our site was down forlike 1week..when it came back..we have been experiencing down time...

ssh into telnet or , no i think it is just ssh, and type "hostname" without he quotes.

sorry..but can you repeat that like in a simplier form for me?...i'm not much of a person that kno these stuff...
