Since the new server upgrade my PAP2T is not working correctly. Most of the time it will not register with the server. When it does register, I get no audio In or Out. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or did ports or some other config change in the Via Talk system. Prior to me receiving an email telling me about the upgrade everything worked GR8.

Do I need to open some additional ports?
Did some PAP2T config options change?

Did my apater bite the dust and all this is just a coincidence?

I am getting frustated and just need help resolving this issue..

Thank you in advance for any help ! !

It seems that with alot of reading and analysis of screen shots I have figured out my issue. This issue was caused by the PAP2T not receiving the External IP Addr. I set the following options on the SIP tab and so far it seems to work.

My router is a D-Link with a SIP - ALG. This Application Layer Gateway is usually found on the Firewall page of the router. I turned on the ALG for SIP and then turn on the following parameters of the PAP2T..

• Handle VIA received, Insert VIA received, Substitute VIA Addr: yes
• Handle VIA rport, Insert VIA rport, Send Resp To Src Port: yes

When the PAP2T Registered, I then noticed the External IP Addr was populated with the ISP IP address. And Viola voice in both directions.
