I have been on with you guys for a only a day, and I must say, you guys rock! I got my account in like 3 minutes! The control panel is just a work of art. One thing I would like to see though, is more cgi-scripts (Such as NewsPro or WWWBoard). I can't wait till my DNS stuff goes through so I can really tap into the power!

Actually, since I use mostly don't bother with the preinstalled scripts (mostly because I use PHP.MySQL more than Perl) and what Perl I do use I install myself, I would much rather see them spend their time with something that would benefit all of it's users. (what? I don't know, I'm just making a general statement)

Ya, I know you can use your own CGI scripts... But I mostly use PHP since I hate chmod'n and all that other mess.

wait a couple days before getting so giddy. they SUCK! we are making plans to move our site. they have a really bad habit of going down, changing the backend without notifying those who are affected, the removal of SSH without saying anything just becuase some idiot was running some hacks...hello! just remove the guy's account and let the rest of us work with our accounts like we always have! we are nearly finished with development on the site and had everything tailored nicely, then they start folling around with stuff and things stop working. forget retooling to fit the upgrade becuase they have a reallly really bad habit of changing stuff every few months!

Why is it whenever someone is dissatisfied, they feel that it's necessary to go around and tell everyone on the board how much they think something sucks?
You've been at HostRocket long enough to know that are proper ways to voice a complaint here. Getting everybody riled up is not the way to do it. I don't see why you couldn't talk to HR support in a nice adult fashion to see if there was a way to work things out.
If there is a way to work things out, great!
If not, then leave. You're not being forced to stay here.
An I'm sure that I'm not the only one tired of slogging through complaints and unfounded accusations.

And if you don't like the host, then just leave. I'm sorry you've had such a bad time, but most of us are still very pleased with HostRocket. I haven't been here quite a month, but, even with the recent problems, HR surpasses the last 3 hosts I have dealt with.
Keep up the good work HR! We're behind ya 100%

Mokee, stop telling people to simply "not read" your comments. It's one thing to avoid a post that you started, but it's harder to magically know beforehand what threads you've posted in. You've stated in a juvenile manner several times already that you're leaving HostRocket. Fine. You're unhappy, so leave. How much longer do you plan on posting about what happened to your site, for the next 10 years? Stop trolling the message boards.
I'm not trying to defend HostRocket; I don't really know or care what kinds of problems you've had with them. But please quit making yourself look stupid and stop wasting space on the board.

...this board has a nifty *ignore* feature. I'm already using it for one user and seriously considering adding mokee to that list...
