index help please

I uploaded an html page and put it in the public folder, why does my index still look this http://66.78.8.168/~kobalt6/

To prevent the directory listing from appearing the html page has to be called index.html

If you're talking about why your URL is numerical rather than your domain name...did you just sign up? It takes a few days for the domain name to resolve everywhere...If it helps, I went to kobalt60.com and the page loaded up fine. :)
