A few suggestions:

1. The mailing list is very hard to setup and after seeing it, i am definately going with an outside company if i am going to use a mailing list. If you make if much easier to setup i would use it.

2. On the banner rotation script, could you please add an option, of how many times to show the banner. Say i have two banners. One must get 100,000 impressions while the other only 10,000. The CGI script should work out which to display more. E.G. Ratio of 10:1 in this case.

3. If you could do the above(no. 2) then add an option, which banner to use once the amount of impressions have been used up.

4. Final suggestion and you have heard it many, many times. PUT the terms of service on every page of hostrocket.com, even if it is tiny writing down the bottom. Also make sure, that on the signup PAGE, they check a check box saying that they agree with the terms.

IF you did all these, you service would be almost perfect.

P.S You should advertise in the control panels, just buttons, and down the side on the homepage

The mailing list is a bit hard to understand, it's true.

However, the trick is that you shouldn't use the hostrocket web interface in order to set it up!

You should browse your folders at hostrocket and read the mailing list docs and configuration files contained in a newly created mailing list folder.

At the end it's only matter of setting some flags by uncommenting some lines in the file called rc.custom and little else.

If you are anyway going for a third party company, go for http://www.topica.com

You could always use http://www.eGroups.com. Their mailing list services are pretty nice..

And a Better Web Stat Script example AXS Tracking System ( Free ) from http://www.xav.com/scripts/axs/

A hard with a good features is better than an easy with few features. Check http://www.hotscripts.com/Perl/Scripts_and_Programs/Mailing_List_Managers/ for others
