View Full Version : ViaTalk Tech support...bunch of kids and totally unprofessional!

OK so I called tech support last night (waited on hold for over 1.5 hour) and a young kid (I am guessing by the sound of his voice) helped me. But here is the major problem with tech support. In the back ground while I was working with the rep on the phone you could hear the others making fun of other customers calling in, dropping the "F bomb" and talking about different positions they like to be in while having sex. I am sure glade I recorded the phone call last night (just in case I had to go back and try the tips the rep gave me). I am now going to forward this call along to the home office letting them know what type of individuals we are dealing with. This is totally unacceptable and why a company would keep these people on the job is beyond me. Now some of you are going to ask "did you ask for permission prior to recording" and the answer is "yes" I advised the rep that I was going to record the call just in case I had to go back and trouble shoot myself and if he had a problem with it. He did not. We will see what the home office has to say once they hear how unprofessional certain tech support reps are.

I also was on with tech support last night, and although the fellow who helped me was professional enough, I also clearly heard the "F" word used, and a bunch of other chatter and BS going on in the background. As you said, not very professional in that respect.

We sincerely apologize for these instances. This sort of behavior is in no way acceptable and we are taking further measures to ensure this does not happen again. We appreciate your comments and are truly sorry you had a customer experience such as this.
