View Full Version : So I Can't Use The SunRocket Gizmo with VT?

I hope someone can help me. I ordered VT on 7/23 and submitted my number transfer several times after that until they FINALLY sent me an E-mail on 8/21 saying they had my porting request. So while I am waiting for the # to port over, I decided to reprogram my Gizmo using the instructions that I've found on line. It turns out that the passwords I've found do NOT work with my Gizmo. So I am now assuming that I have no choice but to throw out the Gizmo and buy the VT hardware. The problem is that I can't find a link anywhere that says how to order it and I don't want to be on hold for 4 hours only to then get disconnected when I'm #1 in the queue. (That has happened to me.) So can someone either tell me:

1) How I can get the Gizmo to work with VT?

2) How I can order the VT hardware and how much it will cost?

see the threads on broadbandreports.com on how to configure your gizmo... but! If you have a LOCKED SPA2102, you'll have to unlock it first.

So what if I just want to buy VT's gadget? How can I do that? (Please don't say I need to call them! :eek: )

I adapted my "gizmo" a while back and it's been working fine. I did receive a ATA from ViaTalk and asked them if they wanted it back to send to one of the customers still needing one since my phone system was working, but of course they never answered. So I'm sitting on it for a backup.

You could send it a trouble ticket, but don't expect it to get answered in the next month. :(

Which "Gizmo" do you have? There were 4 that I know of .... 2 Ac211 units, an innomedia unit, and a linksys unit. The unlocking differs on all.
