I opened a ticket on 11aug07, till date no one has even looked at it. I raised the ticket complaining that I cant place a 1800 call to poison service when my son drank something. I wanted to know whats happening and how to get it corrected. I dont understand how can the call wont go through for such important numbers!!!! Anyway, this can be solved? If something happens and I cant reach such an important number, i may have to go behind viatalk.
Can you call other toll free numbers, or is it just this one number?

Same here. Tickets are not being answered in a timely fashion. The 1-866 support line always had a long wait. I have pm'd a VT personnel on here for help but have received no response. I have had no incoming calls for two days now. I have opened a ticket and still waiting.
Will need to look into other options sooner or later.

The poison control center (800-222-1222) automatically routes your call to your local center. It should work by area code and exchange. This may have something to do with it. VoIP generally uses 'non-standard' exchanges. Although I wouldn't think this would be a big deal. You may try contacting your local center and see if your AC and exchange are in their database.

Brian188, by chance are you having any issues with incoming calls? I have not been able to get any incoming calls for the past two days now. Only outgoing calls are working. Support is lagging. Have any ideas. This has been a real drag for me.

No I'm not having any problems that I'm aware of anyway. You might try changing servers and see what happens.

Weird thing is that I tried all the servers issued to me in the control panel for "BYOD" access. None works as far as incoming calls. All outgoing works fine. Connected the ATA directly to my cable modem and same thing.
I am glad that your service is fine compared to others. I am gonna start to test another provider next to VT and see if they bother responding to my tickets the next couple of weeks. Thanks again Brian188.

That is odd. Sorry to hear that. Not sure what to tell you buddy. You're going to need someone from VT. in the mean time try some servers not issued to you and see if you have any luck there.

No sporadic calls here. They just don't come in at all. Tried it again last night from an AT&T line. Will try what you mentioned and see what happens. Post back later. Thanks again.

Finally their sites are back up. Tried several servers and no incoming calls. I buddy of mine ordered a new ATA from voxilla so I borrowed it brand new out of the box and entered my credentials from VT. Still no incoming calls only outgoing works. So I know my ATA is not the issue. I am on day 7 with no incoming calls. Tickets have not been responded too since then. I am testing another provider next to VT. If all goes well I will port my number over. Thanks for all the assistance Brian188. Will update you again.
