I am not upset nor surprised that I got charged the $2.50 fee per month for the 911 service.

However why are we charged if the number is not ported yet?

Isnt this charge supposed to be based on the monthly charge and since we only pay once a year should we only be billed once a year?

Finally since the price of this tax/fee is pretty static, why not include it in your advertised price?

Thank you

Everyone on our network with an active phone number (temporary/permanent) will be charged the monthly tax. As soon as your account is activated, you have access to 911 services through our network.

Perhaps in the future we may combine the taxes into the main billing package. Currently, however, if you would like to pre-pay these fees you may do so by contacting support.

Thank you for your comments.

It is very frustrating to be invoiced for services we do not have. My phone number has already been ported, but I have no dial tone. I have been on hold for eight days with no luck getting through. Last night I bought prioity service and was caller number eight for an hour before I hung up. Again this morning I am on hold, caller number 5 for thirthy minutes now with priority. This is my cell phone and it is costing me a fortune to try and get my phone up and running. Can someone help me???!!!
