i don't work for via:talk but from my past experience this might help a lot of you new customers.
1.If you send your number porting documents make sure they are PDF format. and if you didn't get a email saying they didn't receive your documents within 2-3 BUSINESS days. if you don't have a fax machine, email them to loas@viatalk.com
1a. i suggest resending the documents. make sure you add your via:talk phone number where it says "Via:Talk Phone Number" on the LOA. this will help speed up the process.
2. 3 month Contract Buyout.
2a. you should send your proof of your contract to via:talk, or call their tech support number after at least 5-10 business days. ( i called their tech support and the tech-guy credited me 3 months)
3. Contacting Customer Support.
3a. Try calling early in the morning around 8 00 am. or after midnight. to reach customer support faster.
4. Admin User Name for Adapter.
4a. if you get through to tech support ask them for your adapter admin and user name this might help you later on if you don't like your phone quality you can switch servers.
