The VT dial plan per the FAQ is as follows:

(*xx|*xxxxxxxxx|*xxxxxxxxxxxxx|*xxx|xxx|xxxx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx)"

When I try to send this (via telnet) to my device, it takes the entire list of strings up to "1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0" but leaves out everything after the closing bracket symbol "]". Maybe it doesn't like "SO".

My device is the unlocked SR Innomedia MTA 6328-2Re. Has anyone succeeded in feeding this beast the full meal?

That Dial Plan is for Linksys devices. The correct DP for your device is all over these forums. Search is your friend.

All over these forums? Maybe there's a working plan for the SR AC-211, but not for the Innomedia MTA6238 gizmo. Search for yourself.

I can't vouch for your suggested dial plan, but I can help you on the rest. My gizmo would occasionally refuse to take the entire string at once. Load half of it at a time. Press "e" to erase everything; then "a" to add to string. Select about half of the string(don't include the trailing "|" - it will be added automatically) and paste it into the telnet window. Then press "a" again and paste the remainder.

i.e. - load "*xx|*xxxxxxxxx|*xxxxxxxxxxxxx|*xxx|xxx|xxxx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx"
then "1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx"

Don't include quotes or parentheses. FWIW, I went back to the original SR dial plan.

Good luck.

I don't think the issue is the dial plan. I think the gizmo is having problems passing DTMF to VT's servers. I've tried two phones, my Uniden TRU8885 that worked fine for the two years with SR and a old Sony 900mhz 2 line cordless. The Uniden might work dialing out 2% of the time if I don't use speeddial - dial the digits slowly. The Sony will successfully dial out about 80% of the time. I'm not sure what the deal is as the Uniden worked fine for a couple days last week with VT.

I've got a PAP2T-NA on order - should be here next week. If that doesn't work, I'm cancelling VT and trying somebody else...
