I've got my SR Gizmo working with VT, but having some issues. First is dialing out - especially toll free numbers(i.e. VT Support). Talked with VT support by cell phone and the tech recommended updating Dial Plan. He suggested:

(>#|*xx|*xxxxxxxxx|*xxxxxxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|1[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|x.T)

My config file has:

VoIP_Digit_Map_String="911|611|411|311|0.T|[2-9]XXXXXX.T|[2-9]XXXXXX.#|1[2-9]XXXXXXXXX|011X.T|011X.#|*6X.T|*00|*0X|*1X|*20|*82"

I haven't a clue how to reconcile those two and the VT support guy didn't either.

Second, I bought a second account to use for the old SR "Signature Number" since VT's "Virtual Number" doesn't accomplish the same thing. I used the Sig. No. for a home office line with distinctive ring. The second line will do the job better(but more expensive than SR:rolleyes:). Problem is, the second line will not register with either account; while either account works with line 1 on the gizmo.

I'm ready to toss this thing in the trash and pick up a PAP2 at Microcenter (http://microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0212064) tomorrow.

You will not be able to do much with that dial plan. I am kinda in the same boat, I want to alter the dial plan but the Innomedia products do not use a standard syntax for their dialplans.
You cannot use angle brackets < or ! or the S0 command.

I can make and receive calls fine with my 6328 bt want to be able to configure it a bit more. I am going to get a PAP2 off ebay or something and just unlock it.

Sorry I can't help with your dial out problems because I don't know the SR Gizmo at all.

I can tell you DON'T buy the PAP2 you posted a link to. First it is locked to Vonage. You will need to unlock it. Second it is a PAP2 I would recommend a PAP2T. VT should supply you one. But if you don't want to wait on hold for them to order one or if you'd rather just get your own. You can get it here: http://store.voxilla.com/voip-products/linksys-pap2t-na-unlocked.html

It's a little more expensive then the one you found but it will be worth it, and it is UNLOCKED.

That was the first thing I planned to check when I got to the store. I was afraid of that, especially after reading the documentation for the PAP2, which has Vonage all over it...

What are the differences between the PAP2 and PAP2T? You're correct in that I don't want to wait on VT. Plus I want the flexibility of BYOD.

Thanks!

I think I found the answer to one of my questions at http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com (http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com/2007/07/configuring-2-lines-with-innomedia.html). You must enable port 2 by telnet - it's not available thru the web interface...

what firmware version are you running on that innomedia ?
I was having some problems with navigating queue(s) when connecting to certain toll free numbers,
tried changing settings via telnet " RFC2833 " to OFF
from this link (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r18714217-Re-Innomedia-Gizmo-not-passing-DTMF-after-call-connects) it did not fix all problems

if your on this image 3.0.75 go to here - [can't locate right now will update when I find it...]
just need to look in right places click here (http://www.sunrocket.com/INNOMEDIA/software/sip6328.img_V3077) best grab it quick - is on SR servers
and update to this image 3.0.77 avoid the 3.0.79
you will also need to enable port2 so you can use one innomedia for two separate accts - it can be done ...
How can I configure my line to work with 2-lines (http://forums.hostrocket.com/showthread.php?t=21853)

follow post #3 and parts of post #7 - there was one minor correction to it and I will be adding correction post to it soon!
received my second temp number today and have this black box purring for now...

Yeh - my problem is not connecting at all. I'd like to change the Dial Plan, but Innomedia uses non-standard syntax.

Pretty sure that I'm on 3.0.75, I'll check when I get home.

Yep - I found that piece earlier. Thanks for the help, but I'm still planning to get rid of the Innomedia once I figure out which box to go for. I'm not repeating this Sunrocket experience if I can help it...

I can't really tell the differences between the two PAP2 & PAP2T. I heard somewhere that is was more memory, but not sure. I do know the 2T is newer and they are still putting out new firmware for it (Latest in May), they have not updated the PAP2 firmware from the original.

Well, I managed to get line two working, but still can't call VT support.
