Just Spoke with a rep at VT after being on hold for 4hrs and 13min should be called VD but anyways. The rep says we sent you an email. I never got one. then they sent me this email as I am talking to them. So switch to via talk and get a VD

Hi Hacksurfin , I think you were "flagged" and no one told you. The same thing happened to me. I did not get the email either. But, when I called on one of my MANY calls to customer service, a rep said "oh your account was flagged due to the service address for 5 days" I said WHAT?? no one told me, he said OH, someone removed it on the 5th day, because you mentioned you were buying the phone service for a college student in California. I could not believe I was flagged, not informed. But, I guess I should be happy that a rep on one of my calls was listening to my story....and then realized I was the mom buying the service for another address. (Even though he never told me about the Flag or removing the Flag during that conversation). Well, I ordered on July 18th and still NO shipping yet!!
