If I used Yahoo domains as my domain registrar how do I change the DNS information so I can use ALL the control panel features with HostRocket.com. I can do a virtual forwarding but then the control panel features won't work.

Should I transfer my domain from yahoo domains to network solutions? If yes, how?

Please help!

You should have gotten an email from HR with the correct ip's to point to. You have to go to your Yahoo account and change the entries there to point to HR's addresses.
You do not have to have your domain purchased through HR to use the control panel functions.

It's not that simple with Yahoo domains! They give me the option to create "a DNS A Record" but what the heck is the 'A' for? Then they want an IP # (just one, no hostname). I have tried all 3 IP #s that I received and nothing worked.

How do I transfer domain registrar's? Is this even possible because I would hate for my client to be stuck with yahoo domains!

I would create a trouble ticket. I doubt HR support can help you much with the Yahoo system since it not theirs. I would think they can advise you how to transfer your registrar to their service.

When you signed up for hr, along with the name servers, you also got a set of ip #'s, use those with the yahoo domains- since they only seem to want to accept ip #'s.. and make sure you give it about a week before deciding it must not have worked- can take up to a week or more sometimes for all the dns information accross the web to update. Oh and in the future, dont buy from Yahoo- go to a place like joker.com, and depending on the conversion rate from the euro to your currency, you could get a domain for as little as 10 dollars(us) a year, and if you register alot, could be alot cheaper.
