I signed up for service on 7/17/2007. It is still not proceesed, the status indicates Viatalk has received the order. Tried to call, always 80-100 calls waiting. Try Live chat, after waiting for somebody to respond for 30 minutes I gave up. Filled out tickets to cancel the order no reponse to the ticket. I have signed up with Teleblend, recomonded by Sunrocket, and my new service is up and running within minutes and the price is not bad either @12.95/month until Sunrocket contract runs out without any contract, so If I ever receive reply from Viatalk I will cancel it then. So be aware and stay away from Viatalk.

and also I have two open tickets that no body has responded for three days.

No way to cancel the order once placed, there is no link on order satus page to cancel it.

.. and i want it NOW.

;)

I think you were trying too hard. You gave them three or four business days before canceling your order .... yup .. that's about right.

It has been over a week now for me. They have my money (and have had it for 6 days), but have yet to ship my adapter or set me up so I can configure my account, setup voicemail, etc. I have been charged for a product and service I am not receiving.

What's worse is the fact no one will communicate with a paying customer. I have had one of two support tickets open for 6 days with no response. I have sat on the phone for hours on hold to no avail.

I have been waiting 5 days with no Email confirmation of my order or any other kind of communication. I also can't get through to customer service. I don't have any charges on my credit card yet, so I am heading to Packet 8. I will cancel the charges if these guys try to process my order. I don't want to do business with this kind of company!

Wow, 5 whole days huh? So thats what 3-5 business days, when they are saying 7-10. If you still check these forums dayapatel, i would remove that link. It kinda gives out your address and billing info.

Thanks Jokeworm, now i have that annoying girl from Willie Wonka stuck in my head singing! lol

I'll call your 7-10 days and raise you to 11. Order placed 7/13 at 12:15am EDT.

Wow, 5 whole days huh? So thats what 3-5 business days, when they are saying 7-10.

Problem with this is that when a lot of these people signed up - the website was still showing 3-5 days .. so telling them that "the webpage says 7-10" isn't really a valid argument.

If they change the webpage tomorrow to say 14-21 days - do those same people then have to wait 21 days before they can vent their frustration ;)

All they are saying ..... is give them an idea what is happening with the orders. Totally understandable.

the REALLY annoying thing is reading posts from dozens of people who signed up DAYS after me, have their adaptor all set up, and are back to leading happy lives.

Also on my list of annoyances is calling support and waiting 1.5 hours, having someone tell me my order is all set to be processed yesterday afternoon, and then nothing happens.

love the ticker ;)
Try calling late night ... 1-11pm central ... wait time should not be nearly as long.
