Dropped Calls Today!!

Anyone else experienceing up and down service today? To actually get a call to go through, the caller has to call twice, as the first call gets dropped. When it does finally connect, the call quality is a bit poor. I figure I would wait a day to submit a ticket, but I hope this is not what we get to look forward too with all the folks switching from SunRocket.:confused:

I have noticed that too - but only on calls being forwarded from my Sunrocket number to the temporary VT number. I've tested the service by having some relatives dial the temp number and they all go through first try every time.

Another thing that could be contributing to this is that VT was reconfiguring some of their SIP servers today. I've seen some BYOD folks here that are entering IP addresses directly into their ATAs, which is a no-no... ask me how I know! ;) Enter the device name and VT's proper DNS addresses to ensure that you don't have downtime during these maintenance and upgrade events.

That may not be relevant for you, but it may help other folks who are just now signing on.
