I fax very little, but it is convenient to have it here when I need it. With the extremely low volume of my faxes, It would not be worth it for me to pay $10/month, but would be nice to have the option to send faxes for a smaller fee. Most recently I have needed it to send my LNP LOA, which I can't do. I probably only send/receive 5-10 faxes a year, and $120/yr for that would be silly.

If faxing from your VT line and you are using a PAP2, just dial *99 wait for dial tone and then the fax number. You should have no problem faxing a couple pages. If you can't receive on your VT line consider a free fax to email service like www.freedigits.com
