I would also like to know what to do with it once you're in, to get it to work with VT. I just ordered VT on 7/16, and would love to speed up the connection process by switching to BYOD.

Any instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Pinky,

You should be able to search around this forum to get some info on the settings, but I believe VT will provide you with the specific information you will need to modify your gizmo. Also, Google AC211 for setup procedures.

If you're not too geeky, then be careful or you may turn the gizmo into a brick. Note the baseline you currently have before you change anything. The first two things I did was change the password and stop autoconfig.

Be patient and don't change anything unless you understand what you are changing and why.

I've emailed them about changing my order to BYOD to speed up the processing... but I have not heard back from them yet.

They'll probably fill my order some time next week before they get to my email. ;)
