View Full Version : Brand new account shows wrong account terms

Well, I guess it's not surprising. I signed up for buy one year, get one free. Got that confirmed twice on two separate phone calls. That was Monday.

It got activated today. I logged into my account, and it shows activation on 7/16/07, with a renewal date of 10/16/08--that's the one year plus three free months deal.

I should expire on 7/16/09.

I sent in a ticket, set it to low priority--because, frankly, it is. But I can't afford to let this one slide, so I'll try to follow it closely. I don't know when a "low priority" ticket will get attention right now.

Anyway, newbies, log into your account and check your renewal date on the left side. Make sure they got it right.

We changed the promo sometime in the afternoon. I'd imagine if you were told twice that you got the buy one get one promo that you signed up while it was up.

If you PM me your ticket ID, I can look into this and make any necessary changes to your account.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I signed up on 7/15/07 for the buy one year, get one free and confirmed it with someone on Sunday. I just received the info to log onto my account. When I checked my invoice, it shows a renewal date of 7/08, instead of 7/09. I also submitted a ticket, "medium" priority. Hopefully my account will be fixed soon.

They WILL fix it. They know when your account was signed up for, and what promotion was there.

You may (or may not!) have to follow up on this pretty hard, though. Have patience and understanding, but also expect them to fix this before everyone "forgets" about it.

You are right, they have already fixed this. They have been on top of everything, which is really impressive since I am sure they are swamped right now with tons of people switching from Sunrocket!
