I am a SR refugee. I connected up and provisioned my Innomedia Gizmo last night. Inbound and outbound calling works great.
But I noticed when I tried to access VT Voice Mail or any other Voice Mail system, after the call is connected the DTMF tomes are not received by the system called.
Are you experiencing this same issue?

I envy the BYODers whose orders got filled so quickly (hours). Its been days for me and still no contact. Its impossible to get though to anyone via customer support (either over the phone or via livechat). I guess I'll just have to wait it out and periodically try customer support.

(yes this will be posted in multiple forums here, to benefit the most number of users)
I got my new (temporary) ViaTalk number, unlocked my AC-211, and put in their info. I've got my SR number forwarding to my ViaTalk number, so I don't have to give out the temp number for the duration of the porting period. For those of you who are using the AC-211, here are the settings you need:
Under "SIP", use whatever server they give you as the primary server, port 5060.
For the Line 1 entry on the SIP screen:
The User/Phone number AND Authentication Name are the phone number ViaTalk gives you.
The password is the one ViaTalk gives you.
Next, click the "Line 1" tab:
Change "Send out of band telephone events" to RFC 2833. Payload value is 101. Do this for the Line 2 tab as well.
Next, click the CODECS menu.
For both lines, use G711U.
Oh, and disable autoconfiguration

Excellent post, I'm a SR customer & I called VT on Monday to sign up for the 199.99 deal. Wish me luck!
Thanks for the post.
Before I can attempt what you ask, I believe I need to unlock the Gizmo (ac-211-sr.)
Does anyone know how to do that?

Here's the info for the Innomedia gizmo:
From http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r18692448-VERIFIED-guide-use-Innomedia-Gizmo-on-ViaTalk-
1. Disconnect your WAN port from the gizmo
2. Open your browser (I used IE - cannot verify if it will work with any other browser). Go to »192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm - the IP Address will verify if you changed the default settings in the gizmo. If so, use that address, but DO NOT FORGET the /Voice_adminPage.htm at the end.
3. Login using your admin password. If you do not know the password, try one available at »gizmopasswords.blogspot.com
4. Turn off provisioning if you have not done this already. To do this, go to NETWORK -> Provisioning setting. Uncheck the "Enable Provisioning" box and hit the "Save and Reboot" button. After rebooting, you may not be able to login to the admin account since the reboot will default to index.htm. Hit CANCEL, and go to »192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm to login.
5. Go to VOIP -> SIP Proxy and enter these settings:
1. SIP Proxy - Enter exactly what was sent in your email from ViaTalk. Remove any whitespaces at the end.
2. Check "Use Outbound Proxy" box
3. SIP Local Signaling Port: 5060
4. SIP Domain:
5. Registration Expiration time: 60
6. Preferred Codecs List: PCMU/8000
7. Choose "NONE" for all others.
8. Click "Save" button.
6. Go to VOIP -> User Account.
1. Choose Line 1 from dropdown
2. User ID: Your 11-digit phone number from email (starting with country code 1)
3. Password: From email
4. User Name: Same as User ID above
5. Authentication ID:
6. Use Hot Phone Number: NO
7. Hot Phone Number:
8. Use T38 FAX: Yes
9. Click "Save" button
Reboot your cable/dsl modem, then reboot your gizmo, and power-cycle your phone (if it is a powered phone). ENJOY!!
Check under the "information" to see if line 1 is registered
Note that when the port of your SR number to ViaTalk is complete, you'll need to use your SR number in place of your ViaTalk number in these configs.
To unlock the Gizmo - unbrick it as per these instructions http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com/2007/07/innomedia-gizmo-bricked-try-this.html

Anyone have good instructions to unlock the SR Linksys spa2102? I've done the phone commands to enable the web administration, but cannot get any username/password combos to work. I've tried all I can find to no avail. I'd really like to just unlock SR's gizmo to enable it to work with my new VT account rather than go buy one at Worst Buy or Circuit Sh*tty.

OK - I've unlocked my SR gizmo and signed up online for VT. I'm on hold with Customer Service and after, 15 minutes on my cell phone, I've gone from "Caller 96" to "Caller 70". Can the config be done thru a support ticket or must I speak with Customer Service?

repost from my post in another thread (sorry if this is against TOS)
To continue use of your Sunrocket Service while waiting for ViaTalk try the following -after you get access to the Gizmo:
Proxy_Server_ID="67.133.234.125:5060"
I'm still UP on Sunrocket -for now. But afraid to unplug until I get VT credentials.

Excuse my ignorance, but is the :5060 actually part of the proxy ID? Or is it the port number to be entered in port, but not part of the ID?

Both: depends on your SIP as to how it is entered.
So, what's realistic to expect credentials from VT for BYOD service?

I'm just trying to get my SunRocket to work again. It looks like you've done something to get yours to work? Or was it working already and you've just logged in and looked at your config to offer that proxy server id?

I found that the newer server ID 75.xxx.xxx.xxx is no longer working for me. A few have began to use this old server ID with success. Remember to soft-boot (from the Gizmo web menu) following config changes.

SUCCESS configuring a Sunrocket SPA2102-R to new ViaTalk service!!!
I am not a BYOD customer, but I thought I would try to configure my old Sunrocket SPA2102-R while waiting for my new VT adapter to arrive.
Here is a summary of the changes I made:
First I had to unlock the Sunrocket Gizmo. I followed the instructions at:
http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com/2007/07/unlocking-linksys-spa2102-r.html.
Here's a quick summary of the instructions on that page:
Pick up your phone and dial:
**** (it will ask you for option#)
723646# (when asked for option)
78778839# (when asked for password)
1# (when asked for value)
1 (when asked to save)
--
If your Gizmo is behind your router, don't hang up. You will need to enable access from WAN side.
7932# (this is the option#)
1 (to save)
If you don't know the IP address of your SPA2102, use option 110# to hear it.
--
Do NOT do a factory reset. This seem to create problems where the password gets set to an unknown password. Just don't do it!
If you followed the instructions above, you should now be able to access the web administration for the SPA2102-R. On my network the URL is 192.168.1.66. Chances are that yours is different. You can access the admin using this address (you must of course enter your own ip): http://192.168.1.66/admin/voice/advanced
If you are able to access the configuration of the Gizmo, you just need to obtain the right values from ViaTalk to be used when configuring the Gizmo.
Go to your ViaTalk account management and from the Main Menu (Control Panel) click the Softphone Config icon on the last row of icons. Select software Xten and click Get Configuration.
You should now see a list of values. You will need these values as you follow the steps below to change your SPA2102 configuration.
My SPA2102 is at Software Version 3.3.5(a). I did not try to upgrade the firmware since others have had problems. Instead I decided to just try the same firmware and it worked out.
These are the settings I changed:
VOICE tab:
System tab:
Restricted Access Domains: I removed all entries
Provisioning tab:
Enable: NO
Line 1 tab:
Proxy and Registration section:
Proxy: ViaTalk Config value for "SIP proxy"
Outbound Proxy: ViaTalk Config value for "Outbound Proxy"
Subscriber Information section:
Display Name: ViaTalk Config value for "Display Name"
User ID: ViaTalk Config value for "Username"
Password: ViaTalk Config value for "Password"
Auth ID: ViaTalk Config value for "Authorization" - and make sure "Use Auth ID" is set to YES
ROUTER tab:
Optional Settings section:
Domain: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain"
Primary DNS: 64.118.82.166
Secondary DNS: 216.120.225.19
DNS Server Order: Manual
DNS Query Mode: Parallell
Primary NTP Server: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain"
Secondary NTP Server: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain"
I don't know whether all these settings were necessary or not, but after making these setting, I turned off my modem, my router and the SPA2102 for 2 minutes. I then powered up my modem and router, then waiting another 2 minutes before powering the SPA2102. After this, my new ViaTalk phone number is functional.
I configured my Sunrocket phone number to forward to my ViaTalk number, so at this point I am able to receive calls coming in on my Sunrocket number.
Next step is to process the phone number transfer.
Good Luck!

Got my Linksys unlocked and am able to login with admin access. I took the info VT sent me and got it placed into the proper fields in Line 1 (username, server name, passcode, etc.). It still does not give me a dial tone for my VT calling plan. Now what? What are the proper settings for things like the dial plan? To make this easy, why doesn't someone here who is using a Linksys SPA2102-R, used to be a SR customer and has switched over to VT and successfully configured their gizmo to work with VT post actual screenshots of their SPA2102-R settings? I have tried everything I can find online and still can't get the GD thing to work. I created a support ticket at VT 3 days ago and they have yet to respond. I'm starting to think this is all bullsh*t and not a single person alive on earth has successfully configured their SR Linksys gizmo to work with VT, and that VT is actually a non-existent company! Except that the tards already charged my credit card!

Yes. we know. But no information there helps if your SPA2102 does NOT unlock with the IVR codes....
If it does not unlock with those codes, you'll never get it unlocked unless you sign up for service with Teleblend. Even then it's doubtful. Someone there or at Sunrocket has changed the admin password. Whoever it was, unless one of those people decides to be loyal to former SR customers, by posting the new password[s] online, rather than loyal to a bunch of a$$bags that steal money from decent human beings, the end result is that there are now tens of thousands of bricked SPA2102's wasting space around the planet. I was lucky enough to get access to the gizmo and change the password before those idiots could change it themselves. I immediately took it offline so they would not have access to it, and kept it there until I could get it to work with Viatalk. Viatalk was really no help in the matter. I posted a support request nearly a week ago, asking for config info, and still haven't heard a word from them. Friday, after waiting over 7 hours "on hold" for them to get me to tech support, I finally gave up and just started trying random settings on the gizmo to get it to work with my Viatalk account. Two days later, it worked. I got lucky.
I never tried a factory reset, though you would still have to have admin access to the device to even get that far. Unless there is some way to take the device apart and short the motherboard back to factory defaults (this was possible some years ago with Linksys WRT54G routers). I wouldn't recommend trying that, unless you have fully given up on ever getting the admin password from TB. At that point, you'd have nothing to lose. Be wary of electrical currents though, obviously!
If anyone needs me to post screenshots of my Linksys SPA2102-R's Router and Voice settings for Viatalk, I can do that. Just haven't taken the time yet.

I was able to set up my SunRocket AC-211SR Gizmo for ViaTalk without much effort.
UNLOCKING
I used this helpful post to unlock my Gizmo - http://direct.nuvio.com/sunrocket/provision_ac-211-sr.html
They also have suggested ways to unlock AC-211N-SR, Innomedia 6328 & they are working on the Linksys SPA 2102 at this page - http://direct.nuvio.com/sunrocket/devices.html
CONFIGURATION
I first simply plugged in the information provided on ViaTalk's website where I thought it most logical and got it working, then I tweaked it with the post from DMOLAVI on page one of this topic.
DIALING PROBLEMS
At first I had to dial 1 on every number to call out, but it cleared up on it's own. Now I can dial local 7 digit numbers and I can dial long distance numbers without the zero just fine.
I do hear the clicks on the dial tone at the beginning, but I seem to remember hearing those with SunRocket as well. I have had no issue with any calls though.
I saw a post by someone who did the BYOD and was having call quality issues and was blaming ViaTalk. If you are having issues with your own device, then you should purchase their device that they support as I bet you will get better quality and much better service. I will probably buy one myself as I just did the BYOD to get up and running fast as I plan I using the current Gizmo to set it up on the Gizmo Project.com and use a GrandCentral.com number (as soon as they give me one that is) as my primary number on it. This particular set up will then provide me with a totally free phone.
PORTING
I have both my SR numbers forwarding to my ViaTalk number at the present time (at least until SR pulls the plug). I hope to get them both ported over, but at least the main number ported to ViaTalk.

I unlocked my Innomedia gizo and that was no problem. I don't know what email from VT everyone talks about in the instructions. The email I rcvd from VT doesn't have any info on SIP Proxy or SIP Domain. Does anyone know what to enter in these fields. I tried a couple of things I find on other sites but they didn't work so I have no phone for now. VT website is pretty useless. It would be too easy for them to just give u all the info. Help please!!!

Hello, and thank you for sharing your settings. I followed your instructions and my Gizmo is almost there. I can place calls, but I can not receive calls. When dialing into my new viatalk number, it goes automatically to voice mail.
I set it up to NOT go to Voice mail and it goes now to the "Network not available" number I set up before. So, it thinks that I don't have network, when indeed I do have Internet access...
Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. I have the Gizmo AC-211-SR.
Thanks again!

I called TeleBland to ask them for the password to my Linksys SPA-2102, because the people, like myself, who waited to long to jump on and change the settings have found out that the password has been changed and is no longer 78778839#
I was expecting them to say one of two thing. I thought they'd say they weren't providing it, which would be a crock because we own the equipment and they came into our property and made a change without our permission (can you say class action law suit). I also thought they might say that they didn't have it, which would be a crock, because they'd have to have it to switch SR customers without sending new equipment.
I was actually astonished when I was told that they plan to change the password back at midnight tomorrow. My guess is that someone with a little knowledge of the law told them that they opened themselves up to all sorts of litigation by doing that.
So theoretically, all of the procrastinators like myself will have the opprotunity to unlock our gizmos on Monday.

Of course once I signed on with ViaTalk, I found that my gizmo password had changed. Is there any new word on SR/TB resetting the passwords back or any new passwords to try? ViaTalk is impossible to get through to at this point to order their gizmo, and they aren't responding to email requests either.

Proxy: ViaTalk Config value for "SIP proxy" ONLY ENTER ONE SERVER
Outbound Proxy: ViaTalk Config value for "Outbound Proxy" ONLY ENTER ONE SERVER
Subscriber Information section:
Display Name: ViaTalk Config value for "Display Name"- This will be the name others see in their caller ID when you call people.
User ID: ViaTalk Config value for "Username"
Password: ViaTalk Config value for "Password"
Auth ID: ViaTalk Config value for "Authorization" - and make sure "Use Auth ID" is set to YES
ROUTER tab:
Optional Settings section:
Domain: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain" ONLY ENTER ONE SERVER
Primary DNS: 64.118.82.166
Secondary DNS: 216.120.225.19
DNS Server Order: Manual
DNS Query Mode: Parallell
Primary NTP Server: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain" ONLY ENTER ONE server
Secondary NTP Server: ViaTalk Config value for "Domain" ONLY ENTER ONE Server
I don't know whether all these settings were necessary or not, but after making these setting, I turned off my modem, my router and the SPA2102 for 2 minutes. I then powered up my modem and router, then waiting another 2 minutes before powering the SPA2102. After this, my new ViaTalk phone number is functional.
I configured my Sunrocket phone number to forward to my ViaTalk number, so at this point I am able to receive calls coming in on my Sunrocket number.
Next step is to process the phone number transfer.
Good Luck!
My phone is setup and now working- thanks again. I will post later if I can get the other line attached and working.
