I haven't got this to work yet but here is what I have done so far. HELP.
1) Goto WAN in the gizmo settings and turn off auto-configuration. If you don't it will keep getting overwritten with sunrocket settings
2) Under LAN I added some additional port forwarding settings.
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/SunRocket/AC-211-SR/Viatalk.htm
3) Under SIP I took out the sunrocket IP and port
Domain Name = newyork-1.vtnoc.net (Use the one you were mailed)
Send Registration Request is checked
Dial plan is
(*xx|*xxxxxxxxx|*xxxxxxxxxxxxx|*xxx|xxx|xxxx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx.|011xxxxxxxxxx)
I have tried UDP and TCP transport. no luck
For line 1
User / Phone NuCm = my number starting with 1 then area code
CallerID Name = My name
Port is 5060
AEC On
Authentication User Name my: number starting with 1 then area code
Password is the mailed password
Help!. What else do i need to do?

Read this as someone else was able to get it to work with VT.
(yes this will be posted in multiple forums here, to benefit the most number of users)
I got my new (temporary) ViaTalk number, unlocked my AC-211, and put in their info. I've got my SR number forwarding to my ViaTalk number, so I don't have to give out the temp number for the duration of the porting period. For those of you who are using the AC-211, here are the settings you need:
Under "SIP", use whatever server they give you as the primary server, port 5060.
For the Line 1 entry on the SIP screen:
The User/Phone number AND Authentication Name are the phone number ViaTalk gives you.
The password is the one ViaTalk gives you.
Next, click the "Line 1" tab:
Change "Send out of band telephone events" to RFC 2833. Payload value is 101. Do this for the Line 2 tab as well.
Next, click the CODECS menu.
For both lines, use G711U.
Oh, and disable autoconfiguration

For the Primary Server do we leave the IP address blank and just fill out the port and the Domain Name.
Also. UDP or TCP?

I don't condone this but there is information on unlocking them here (http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com/)
Gizmo IP

You can always log in with welcome but you won't have admin privileges

I changed my Dial Plan based on this post.
http://support.viatalk.com/index.php?_a=knowledgebase&_j=questiondetails&_i=124
This is what caused my dial out to fail.
I went back to the sunrocket dial plan.

Can I get a ViaTalk approved dial plan that works with AC-211-SR?
Or is what I have above ok?

Some suggestions.
If you are connected to a VPN for work you can't access the AC211SR.
If that is not it do this.
Connect your PC directly to the LAN port on the AC211SR
Disconnect the WAN for now.
Once your machine gets connected to the device try http://192.168.251.1/ again.
One of the 1st things you want to do is goto WAN and disable auto-configuration. I couldn't figure out why my config changes kept getting overwritten

The VT dial plan is too long to fit into the box on the SIP config page

I have the same device (ac211sr) and followed the config mentioned in this thread from dmolovi (also posted on his gizmopassword blog) and kept the original sunrocket "dial plan" setting. Incoming and outgoing calls work fine, but I can't seem to get to voicemail. When I try either *123 or 00 to get to voicemail I just get a busy signal.

Does anyone knows how to unlock and configure the Gizmo "InnoMedia MTA6328-2Re" to work on ViaTalk??
I am another "victim" of SunRocket.

Did you try looking at the link mentioned earlier in this thread?

I did not work but it was due to my Gizmo being behind the router. I changed the configuration placing the Gizmo in front of the router, rebooted everything and then I was able to access it.
I used:
User: user
Password: welcome

Using the sunrocket Ac-211-sr dial plan (i mentioned it above) i was able to access voicemail with *123 but at the moment voicemail appears dead. If I call my number it never picks up and *123 is dead. Hope this is fixed soon.

I am probably duplicating something someone else said, but check out this AC211SR setup for VT:

I have an AC-211-SR, H/W:J dated 05/2005, and the "SIP" menu is not available on the left side-bar after I log in. The available menu choices are: Home, WAN, LAN, Security, Line, Reset, and Log out. None of the available menus have anything where I can set the primary server, port, or anything else I need to connect to ViaTalk!
What can I do to get the SIP menu? Is my gizmo too old?
Thank you for your time,

no, that means you didn't log in w/ the admin password. "welcome" is the user password. http://gizmopasswords.blogspot.com has a list of passwords for this gizmo, as well as tools to get it if none of those work.

Thanks for the tip.. I can't believe I thought I knew 'welcome' was the admin password. my bad!
Anyway.. I tried ~~s#U and other mentioned admin passwords from blogspot, none worked. I also tried SNMP with various programs such as Getif (v 2.3.1), Mibber (after loading SMNPv2-SPI, and setting v2c), and snmpset (linux), using .1.3.6.1.4.1.3354.1.3.1.1.3.2.0 for the OID, and making sure private was set for community strings... no dice-- they either timed out or Getif said 'No SNMP Response from 192.168.251.1'. I could see the Gizmo's LAN light faithfully blink 4 times each time I hit 'start' in Getif.
I just gave up and went to Microcenter and bought an Earthlink provisioned SPA-2002-ER. Was super easy on the SPA to login as admin, clear out the earthlink crap, update to the latest firmware, and set up for viatalk. That same night I called a friend of mine that doesn't enunciate his words very well on the phone, and his voice was significantly clearer than Sunrocket--I didn't even have to make him repeat himself once! Dunno if that was the SPA's work or viatalk.

I have setup my AC-211-SR with no issues. Got incoming, outgoing, quality is excellent but when I listen to my voicemail the light remains on. Now this did happen on occasion with SR and I figured out that pushing and holding the off button on my handset for my panasonic phones cleared the light. But it happened very few times. It also works that way now I can clear the light by holding the off button down. But now it's all the time and I'm wondering if there isn't some setting that I'm missing or could check?? Any ideas??

I want to switch to another VOIP provider after SunRocket went out of business. I want to keep my same phone number and get my money back. I am going to do a credit card charge back on SunRocket. Has anyone had any success getting money back or porting their number? What steps did you take?
