Hello, All. I've been using Viatalk for about a month now and am very pleased. I went BYOD with Asterisk mainly because, well, I am an Asterisk PBX tech at work, and figured I'd use the experience to build up my knowledge, etc. The reality is that my wife doesn't like it when I make changes and things stop working, so I am looking at some alternatives.

One alternative I have been looking at is OpenSER, or Milkfish (http://www.milkfish.org). My firewall/router is a Linksys WRT54G running DD-WRT firmware, which has OpenSER/Milkfish installed. Rather than go into detail, if you are interested you can check out their web site.

My question is this, if I have an ATA such as a Linksys PAP2 AND various soft phones and SIP phones (I also have a Polycom 340) all registering through Milkfish, which proxies the registration on to VT, it looks like any internal phone can call out no problem. However, what about incoming calls? Would I have to have a seperate account with VT for each phone? Ideally, for an incoming call I would want to have every idle phone in the house ring, or at least be able to pick up the call. I can do that now with Asterisk, of course.

So,to summarize, is anyone else here using a SIP proxy to manage multiple phones to one VT account?

Thanks!
