I paid $240 for 2 years. I cancelled after 6 months on May 7th. I was told I would be getting a refund of $89.55. Here it is June 18th. I just sent my FOURTH email with no response. What a way to do business. At least VONAGE IMMEDIATELY refunded ALL of my money. I thought VIATALK was better than that.

As mentioned on the phone, the original invoice is too old to refund. You currently have eighteen months of service remaining, so the total refund will be $89.55.

If you are due a refund by check, the refund will be processed in approximately 60 - 90 days. Refunds applied directly to the credit card are done immediately.

If you have a billing inquiry, please open a separate billing ticket or call support. Replying to any ticket in our Refunds queue may delay the processing of your refund, as we do them chronologically.

You can submit a ticket as an email to support@viatalk.com. A ticket can also be filed at support.viatalk.com. You do not need to be an active customer.

Yep. Just click Ticket Status on support.viatalk.com. You'll need the ticket key, which is in the auto-reply when you first open your ticket, and the email address you opened the ticket under.

Have you submitted a billing ticket? If so, you can PM me the ID. Also, any updates to the ticket will be sent to your email.

However, please note that the typical time to process a check refund is between 60-90 days. I have confirmed that your refund ticket is in the proper queue, and I assure you, it will be addressed as soon as possible.

Why would it take any company 90 days to send a check? Did it take them 90 days to get the money from you.

Viatalk needs to be shut down. The FCC should shut them down.

So you want everyone to experience A Sunrocket scenario What about cutomers that are still here and happy with service, or ones that just joined?

Whether this be a coupon you must bring to a store, or a discount code given through an online order form. If you do not bring the coupon or happen to mistype the code, in either case, you will not receive the promotional offer.

Viatalk takes 60-90 days to process a REFUND, but they attempted to charge my card on july 17 for over sixty dollars for going over the limit on VT UNLIMITED and shut my phone off July 20 , THREE DAYS LATER for not paying!

GOOD JOB!

I just wanted to make a small note here that we do not simply shut phone service off. In the case your account is not paid and overdue, you will be set to a suspension status. All calls you make go directly to our support center so the matter can be resolved immediately.

We offer a fully prepaid service. Lack of payment and account suspension should not really be a surprise, and actually expected (in my opinion). I remember having a TracFone, and when I ran out of minutes which I purchased, I certainly did not expect my phone to call out anymore. In fact I clearly recall assuming it would just not work at all once I used the last minute. I was 100% right. The only stipulation here is that I could still call 911 if needed, which is pretty handy with an otherwise useless unpaid phone. With ViaTalk phone service, you can also still call 911 if needed when your account is suspended for non-payment.

The problem lies in most people being used to a standard land-line carrier where they bill you (after) usage and allow x days for payment.

You're essentially comparing a debit card vs a credit card.

However, in saying all of this, I do understand where most people are coming from. I also will convey this in future company meetings to possibly think of a better adjustment when situations like this occur. As always, we appreciate any and all feedback. (Even the negative type.)
