Assistance Please

New to VT having just come from Vonage. All working as planned except on outgoning calls. After dialing i have 10-15 secs dead time before call begins to ring. Never had this w/Vonage. Any idea what could be causing this delay?

Question: Are you dialing with 7, 10, or 11 digits?

You probably are either using 7 or 10 digit dialing. Right?

Try dialing the number with all 11-digits, or (alternatively) dial as you have been then press the #-key (think of the #-key as similar to your cell phone's "send" key). Does the problem go away?

If either of those work-arounds causes the problem to go away, than it's clearly a "dial plan" issue in your adapter. In that case, you can either continue to use 11-digit dialing (or ending with the #-key), or you can "roll up your sleeves" to handle the more complex dial-plan fix that will cause 7 and 10 digit dialing to work normally again.
