I lost service on Saturday. Phone was dead, ISP up reboot didn't work. I called in from my cell and was disconnected after waiting from caller 18 to 6.
Tried again and the service phone was "not available" and the mail box was "full". I put in a ticket and aside from the acknowledgement got no response. When the phone line came up magically on it's on the ticket was closed with NO explaination.

If there is a large screwup at least post an auto message to tell folks calling in whatsup not just try to make them go away!!! Bad bad

This may be due to the outage in the northeast. Here is the email that I received. I believe someone also posted about this in the forums.

Northeast Network Outage

Host Level Network Outage

Presently, the datacenter housing our northeast switches is experiencing a network outage. Users who are set for dynamic routing have already been re-routed to failover equipment and users set for static routing have been manually re-routed to failover equipment. This issue should not cause any interruption of service. At this time, any users experiencing trouble with their phone service should contact support at 1 866 626 7150.
Further updates will be posted as more information becomes available.

That sounds like the problem. I didn't get any notice. Phones must have been swamped with callers. I even tried to swap servers , no go! Sounds like I should get on the emil list for the northeast?

Go to this link (http://support.viatalk.com/index.php?_a=announcements) and subscribe to the announcements. That should help you out, at least notification wise. ;)

jnuzzi, thanks for the link, this should help. I disabled dynamic routing a while ago so it will be nice to have a heads up.
